4th Glasgow (Summerston) Cubs enjoyed a whole day of adventurous activities at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre on Saturday. The whole day was a great success!
We did loads of different things... including climbing, bungee running (video clip), blind trails, hide n seek, bivi building, dam building, orienteering, abseiling, campfire building, backwoods cooking... and of course, generally playing in the mud!!
In the evening, we sang campfire songs (video clip), roasted marshmallows, and we had chocolate bananas and hot chocolate for supper.
The guys that attended have certainly worked towards their Adventure Badge (if they don't already have it!), and they started work towards their Fitness Challenge Badge. If you were there, and you want to earn this badge, complete the challenges on the form, fill in the boxes, and return it to Spud (you can download and print a copy if you didn't get one).
