THE BIG BIKE RIDE

On Saturday 12th July 2008 at 10.30hrs a BIG BIKE RIDE will start in Ipswich. Those on the bike over the age of 14yrs will be sponsored for two charities. the eastanglian air ambulance and the special care baby unit at Ipswich Hospital. the big bike is being hired from www.charitybikes.com
The ride will start at the hospital and finish at the Bristol arms in Shotley approx 12miles , where a BBQ and karaoke will be held into the evening. (Over 14yrs old in the bar area, with parents)
Any Scout group who wishes to come to Ipswich and ride along side the BIG BIKE is welcome to do so and raise funds for there own group.
However if you wish to join in the fun in your own area. please feel free to arrange a BIG BIKE RIDE in your town on the same day and times.
it would be good to see the whole of scouting out in the fresh air on the same day.
now that's a challenge!!!!!!!!
