Cubs Muddy Bike Ride!

We toured the Forth-Clyde canal towpaths and cycleways near Keir golf course. The guys did really well at pinpointing their position on the map, and working out the grid references along the way. Of course, we did our best to go through as many muddy puddles as possible… is this why the parents love us!?
Graham (GSL) provided our support vehicle! He met us at Cadder for a quick BBQ with some sausages and hot chocolate to top off lunch!
Then on the way back, we stopped en route to have a campfire... the guys did amazingly well to start anything burning when it was so wet and windy! We learnt a bit about how to light campfires, and then we sang some campfire songs! Good practice for our adventure day in Auchengillan...

One dreech Saturday in February, five 4th Glasgow Cubs, Spud (CSL) and Dominik (ACSL) went on another muddy bike ride!
