The Pike View Hike is now in its seventh year and getting better with more teams entering every year.The event takes approx 10 months to prepare and involves the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, Raynet and upwards of 100 adult helpers on the day to ensure the safety of the teams.
The event is open to all Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Each section compete's against its own age group to tackle the challenging route. The teams complete an ongoing incident quiz, attend various bases, have fun with the tasks and get back to the camp site safely, having had an excellent day on the beautiful West Pennine Moors.
