23 Scouts, Explorer Scouts and their leaders completed anothe day hike towards the new Staged Hikes Away Badge. The hike took place on the hills behind Greenock and the weather was fine but cold.
Kirsty - Llandudno Junction: Conwy District Orienteering Comp on Saturday was great. As a Group, we had a good turn out. Out of the 13 scouts in the scout section, 7 were ours!! Amazing really, when we are the newest and smallest group in the District - come on everyone else pull y
Horse: What about us animals, eh? I'd love to get outdoors more but my owner keeps locking me up in the stables. I'm absolutely sick to death of hay, I WANT SOME FRESH GRASS! NNNEEEEEAAAAAAAYYYYYYYPPPHRUMPH!
Kirsty - Llandudno Junction: We had a great time yesterday evening - Our Cubs and Scouts had a joint meeting at the local woods to practice orienteering in preparation for the District Competition next Saturday. We even managed not to loose anyone, so all bodes well for the comp!!
mo: not a good idia lozzermarchant
:d :)
lozzermarchant: oh dear... Second life... you need to find some adventure, how about http://getafirstlife.com/
NeverLeaveTheHouse: Today I went hiking on Second Life, does that count?
tjoyce: Yes like the others bad luck with the driving. (But all the best drivers fail the first time!). I wish I could walk to college but I think it would take me a couple of days as it take about 45 mins by car!
Steve: I walked to Nandos!
IanCashmore: Bad luck on the driving test Laurence. Will you be coming to the Lincoln City FC Funday on Saturday? I am planning on posting a video blog as it is going to be a really great outdoor day for all Scouts in Lincs. If you are available it would be great!
Hiraeth: Unlucky Loz, but like you say, on the brightside, at least you can walk to college a little while longer! I'm still walking to school, the cold Southampton air wakes me up just in time for lessons!
